Dating is any social activity undertaken by people with the aim of each assessing the other's suitability as their partner in an intimate relationship or as a spouse. The word refers to the act of meeting and engaging in some mutually agreed upon social activity. Traditional dating activities include entertainment or a meal.
In many cultural traditions, a date may be arranged by a third party, who may be a family member, acquaintance, or professional matchmaker. Recently internet dating has become popular.
Although dating etiquette in Western culture has become more relaxed during the twentieth century, there are considerable differences between social and personal values. For example, when an activity costs money (for example, a meal), traditionally the man was expected to pay; but in recent times the practice of "going Dutch" (splitting the expenses) has become more common and more acceptable.
Systems for organizing dates
- Online dating: Instead of using a traditional matchmaker, online dating uses specifically targeted websites to meet new people.
- Speed dating: Where a group of people get together for several hours in public; you are given a set amount of time to sit and talk to each person before you move on to the next person.
- Mobile dating/cell phone dating: Where text messages to and from a mobile/cell phone carrier are used to show interest in others on the system. Can be web-based or online dating as well depending on the company.
- Virtual dating: A combination of video game playing and dating, where users create avatars and spend time in virtual worlds in an attempt to meet other avatars with the purpose of meeting for potential dates.
- Singles events: Where a group of singles are brought together to take part in various events for the purposes of meeting new people. Events can include such things as parties, workshops and games.
Speed dating is a formalized matchmaking process or dating system whose purpose is to encourage people to meet a large number of new people. Its origins are credited to Rabbi Yaacov Deyo of Aish HaTorah, originally as a way to help Jewish singles meet and marry. "SpeedDating", as a single word, is a registered trademark of Aish HaTorah. "Speed dating", as two separate words, is often used as a generic term for similar events.
The first speed-dating event took place at Pete’s Café in Beverly Hills in late 1998. Soon afterward, several commercial services began offering secular round-robin dating events across the United States. By 2000, speed dating had really taken off, perhaps boosted by its portrayal in shows such as Sex and the City as something that glamorous people did. Supporters argue that speed dating saves time, as most people quickly decide if they are romantically compatible, and first impressions are often permanent.

Esto sirve por si trasteas con ella y por mala suerte haces un brick o semi-brick poder recuperar el sistema Con este proceso se guarda en la tarjeta SD las partidas guardadas. El tutorial se puede hacer con el mando de la gamecube o sin el, pero mejor tenerlo a mano para hacerlo mas facil. 1- Entramos en la raiz de la SD. 2- Los archivos de la NAND de mi wii estan en esta carpeta. Entramos y veremos las siguientes carpetas y archivos. 3- Extraemos estas 4 cosas a la raÃz de la SD. 4- Y nos quedará asi. Ahora vais a la wii y vereis esto. 5- 4 Opciones. La primera es para ir al menu principal. La segunda la utilizamos si queremos ir directamente al Homebrew Channel. La tercera para mi no tiene importancia. Y la última, la que salen los engranajes, es para hacer una copia de seguridad de la NAND o restaurarla. 6- Con el boton ON nos desplazamos por la pantalla. Y con el RESET seleccionamos la opcion que queramos. 7- Para hacer la copia, le damos al icono de la flecha verde. Para restaurarla, al rojo. 8- Esperamos a que se llene todo verde y luego salimos dandole al EJECT. Si sale algun badblock es normal, todas tienen alguno.
